GISD Launches Special Education Advisory Team. | GISD Lanza el Equipo Asesor de Educación Especial.
Superintendent Nubia Tarazona and the Special Education Department are inviting parents and guardians of students who receive Special Education services to apply for a seat on the district's new Advisory Team. The team will meet regularly to share feedback and help guide decisions about special education programs and services. GISD is looking for 15 to 20 members representing every zone of the district. La Superintendente Nubia Tarazona y el Departamento de Educación Especial invitan a los padres, madres y tutores de estudiantes que reciben servicios de Educación Especial a postularse para el nuevo Equipo Asesor del distrito. El equipo se reunirá regularmente para compartir su opinión y ayudar a guiar decisiones sobre los programas y servicios de educación especial.
