Dear Parents and Community Members,
We want to inform you of an important update regarding how the school district will be handling payments moving forward. Beginning this school year, Gadsden ISD will begin transitioning to cashless transactions across all school sites.

Payments for field trips, yearbooks, spirit wear, and fundraising activities will now be made using digital or electronic methods:

✅ MySchoolBucks – for general school fee payments and fundraising
✅ GoFan – for on-site purchases like concessions and athletic event tickets
✅ Blast Fundraising – for select student-led fundraising

This change has already been introduced by principals during recent school meetings. We understand this is a shift and want to assure you it’s based on:

• Student and staff safety by reducing cash handling
• Greater accountability and transparency
• Easier payment processes for families and staff
