The Gadsden Independent School District Board of Education has selected four finalists in its ongoing superintendent search.

Following its meeting on April 13, 2026, the Board identified the following candidates:

 • Nubia Tarazona

 • Maria Hernandez

 • Mychl Buckley

 • Veronica Candelaria

Finalist interviews will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
