Gadsden Independent School District invites families to join us for our upcoming Parent Institute, a special family engagement event celebrating Día de la Niñez.

The event will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Teresa High School Cafeteria.

This interactive evening is designed to bring families together and promote literacy, learning, and community connection. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities and resources, including:

• Free food
• Free books
• Raffles and prizes
• Activity stations for students and families
• An opportunity to meet author Lucy Garcia

Transportation to the event will be available to support family participation.

We encourage all families to attend and take part in this exciting opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate together.
